The Curse of the Red Flag

A man escaped from Dartmoor Prison.

He ran to the local army camp, hoping to disguise himself as an army member.

But this army camp had a curse – the curse of the red flag.

If the red flag came down the whole army camp would suffer terrible consequences.

No one knows what these consequences would be, but they would be terrible.

Therefore it had to be ensured that the red flag stayed up at all times. However, due to the climate on Dartmoor and the storms, as the flag became more weathered, this became more and more difficult.

The red flag is still there and the ghosts of the army camp still try to protect it and not allow it to fall in case something terrible should happen.

The prisoner from Dartmoor didn’t escape, as he only escaped to another type of prison.
